Hi all. My name is Nitro and Im a gorgeous hunk of American Staffordshire Terrier and Australian Terrier mix looking for a home to claim as my own. Im a friendly boy but can be nervous. I really want to know I can trust people before I warm up to them. Obviously a shelter situation is not ideal for a boy like me with all the strange people walking by, all the clanging of kennel doors and the like. A calmer environment with people I know and trust is what I long for and need. Since Im hesitant of people I dont know, a slow and patient introduction will be important to me. That way I can get acquainted with you at my own pace. Confidence building would help me a lot also. I have gone home with one of my friends here at the shelter for overnights and she shared that I did just great. She also passed on that I love being a couch potato! I am really a sweet boy, we just need to get acquainted so you can see that. Do you have a patient and loving heart for a homeless boy? Can I be your new family member?
